Strasbourg, France

The next day we traveled to Strasbourg and spent the majority of the day on the train. We left Brugge at 10 am and did not arrive until a bit after 5pm. Our hotel is in the perfect spot, situated within walking distance of the train station and the main square. All I can say about this town is that it is simply AMAZING and it is a MUST for anyone coming to France. It is a smaller classier version of Paris.

Our first night here was ruined by the weather unfortunately. It was extremely stormy so we did not venture out very much. We fist went to the Cathedral of Notre Dame which was breathtaking, I was literally speechless. I have never seen something this beautiful and this massive in my entire life. It is MUCH more unforgettable than the Notre Dame of Paris. We then had dinner and went back to our hotel.

Today has been wonderfully laid back. We just have been strolling along the streets and poking in and out of different places. We went back to the cathedral to see it in better light, went to the Museum of Notre Dame (which houses a collection of Medieval art), and went to the Protestant chruch. The most interesting part of the day I have found so far is the organ we saw in the Protestant chruch because it is the organ Mozart played on when he came to Strasbourg. There was a sign next to it from Mozart which said that not many people came to his concert. If they only knew...
